If you’re a burger enthusiast like me, the name Shake Shack, shouldn’t be a new thing anymore. The Burbank branch is surprisingly fancy looking for a burger joint. Large space, high ceiling with cool triangle shaped lamps/decoration with indoor and outdoor seating areas. For you who are new to Shake Shack, it has been called the ‘In N Out’ of NYC and is originally from the Big Apple. From when I can see, the menu here is more gourmet looking than ‘In N Out’ burger, as well as the price range. They also use 100% all-natural Angus beef for the patty, has gluten free, as well as non hormones and antibiotics menu. Another plus side is that they provide special menus for your for legged friends like Dog Biscuits. Let’s see if it live up to the reputation.
ShackBurger ($ 5.55/single patty): Cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato and their original ShackSauce. What I love about this burger that it has an extremely juicy, salty beef meat. The buns were a little soggy for my liking, the sauce was nothing to brag about. The portion was also a tad on the small side.
‘Shroom Burger ($ 6.99): The same burger as the previous one with extra Crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled wiyh melted Muenster and Cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce. Love love love the fried mushroom, couldn’t get enough of it.
Fries ($ 2.99): Crinkle fries, crispy and crunchy too.
If you ask me, I give a 3 thumbs up for Shake Shack burger. The service was fast, excellent quality if not for the soggy buns, overall it’s a messy good food. But as a Californian, I wouldn’t abandon my In N Out burger just yet.
