Going to Senopati area is like browsing through Netflix for me. So many things to choose but not enough time. In this case I’m talking about restaurants of course. William’s is quite easy to spot. Located just across where the old Arang Korean BBQ used to be. When I got there the parking spot was full but they provide Valet service for IDR30.000 which is a reasonable price these days. The eatery is located on the top and can be access by the stairs. The restaurant itself is pretty spacey, minimalist interior and good vibe. I fancy the wooden ceiling decoration, it somehow elevated the very simple look. If you’re curious about the food, their menu consisted of fusion international food.
Thai Beef Salad (IDR 110.000): The beef was tough but the salad dressing was sweet, tangy and all good.
Octopus Crackers (IDR 85.000): Kudos on the creativity. The kerupuk/cracker tiny bowls were so cute and delicious, and the spicy octopus really hits the spot.
Salmon and Gulai (IDR 145.000): I like the thick flavorful Indonesian curry sauce. The salmon was cooked nicely and this fusion dish really is a winner.
Salted Egg Pasta (IDR 105.000): Good textured pasta, a little too oily for me but okay flavor wise.
Half Roasted Chicken (IDR 110.000): Wasn’t a fan of this because the chicken was slightly stinky. The only good thing was the Sambal Ati/ Spicy Chicken Liver and Gizzards.
William’s Steak (IDR 320.000): Australian Prime Wagyu served with roasted seasonal vegetables and cream cheese spinach rigatoni topped with Bechamel sauce. Pretty average dish but delicious rigatoni.
If you ask me, William’s served some mediocre and some good fusion food. I like the ambiance and will definitely return for their dessert.
