When holiday season arrives, we usually make trip preparation which includes things like transportation, accomodation and which cafe or coffee shop to visit. This planning thing does not necessarily come easy since we surely want to get the best experience on anything at the best bargain possible.

Accomodation is one of the most important aspect that we should carefully review and find out what they offer before making your booking. After all, we have to spend quite a few quality hours there during our trip.

In this blog writing, I would like to share the experience that I had from a staycation there a few weeks ago, which started from when I entered its grandeur high-ceiling lobby with a well-acclaimed architecture works. Floating spiral stairs to mezzanine level, tilted walls with artistic curvy patterns and ponds are some of the details that I remember from this hotel.

The mezzanine level holds several meeting rooms or halls for a small seminar or banquet, and also the grand ballroom with a capacity for around 1000 people.

On level 6, you can find Fresco restaurant offering Western and Italian menu selection. The restaurant is located just beside a medium-sized swimming pool with 4 cabanas on one side and several sunbeds on the other side surrounded by tree. Feels like an oasis in the middle of the city.

There is also an indoor children playground for guests with kids to keep their kids occupied and entertained.

After touring the hotel for some of its amenities, we headed to our room, welcomed by a doll and package from Hilton. A bowl full of fruits were served on the sofa table as well. Never fails to turn my mood on. The good ones. 😂

At first glance of the room, you can quickly feel its modern vibe but still preserving local Javanese culture in the form of paintings or embelishments on the wall.

Here, although deluxe room and premium, a bigger-sized 52sqm room, both do not have access to executive lounge, which executive room snd the suites have, both room include relatively large rooms with working desk, sofa and its table, and resort-feel bathroom with glass partition to the bedroom. Their queen beds are wider, comparable to king bed at other hotels.

For a travel blogger like me, I sure appreciate hotels that offer rooms that provide comfort, convenience and sophistication like Hilton. That’s why I give Hilton my thumbs up for the rooms.

As you can see from above photos, the suites at Hilton are even bigger and fancier than probably many apartments unit available out there. Great choice when you are looking a complete package and money would not be an issue.

When you feel fatique and tired after a tough day at work or even long walk scouring for cafes and hawkers delicacies in Bandung, the spa, another aminities at Hilton, located on level 5 can be your best destination to loosen up and relax.

One of the perks you got when you stay at a 4-star and 5-star hotels is the gym, if you are keen on exercising even on holiday trip like me. Hilton has shown attention to niche needs like this that undoubtedly earn it extra points in my book.

Breakfast buffet is served at its ground lobby level at Purnawarman Restaurant. The variation of dishes they have there can be considered a lot based on my experience at many other five star hotels.

We feel that Hilton succeeds in offering great value to its guests, in the form of wonderful stay experience at strategic location both for business as well as holiday travellers. At the price that it is currently offering, I would say that it is totally worth it.

On a personal level, we also applaud its support for greener environment by avoiding plastic in many instances, such as no plastic bag for slippers, use of laundry bag from fibre instead of plastic, and cassava-made straw for drinks at the restaurant.

Let’s all do our bits to save the mother earth 👍🏼
