Tom Yum

Author: Posh Eater

Beside the affordable shopping and beautiful sightseeing, it’s a known fact that Bangkok has the most interesting culinary destination in its lists. I was fortunate to went there recently with a friend who know her way around the town, and she took me to this local popular eatery where they serve Tom Yum noodle soup as their specialty. The thing is the noodle is only available starting from 11 PM onwards. I was very curious about this place, especially when I saw how long the line is. I arrived at 10:45 PM and had to wait for around 12 parties to get my table.

Crispy Fried Pork

Crispy Fried Pork (THB 100/S): Crispy succulent fried pork.

Spicy Salmon Sashimi Salad

Spicy Salmon Sashimi Salad : If you’re already feeling sleepy, this dish will definitely wake you up. Fresh, cold, spicy, and ‘kicking your taste bud alive’ kind of flavor.

Fried Kanaeng

Fried Kanaeng (THB 100): Stir fried Kanaeng/ vegetable similar to Brussel sprout with shrimps. The veggies were crisp and fresh. Perfect sauce and fresh shrimps too.

Tom Yum Noodles

Seafood Tom Yum Noodles (THB 250): Boiling hot tom yum soup with crispy pork, eggs, mix seafood, pork meatballs and noodles. The noodles tasted like instant noodles, the soup was fragrant-full, spicy, sour, and all the goodness of Thai’s Tom Yum soup. All the pork side dishes complemented the bold taste of the soup. Yummy and perfect for late supper.

The food and experience was delicious and fun. So the long wait was worth every minute. Another spot for my Bangkok recommended culinary destination list.
