Brunch is one of my favorite meal time in Singapore, it’s the relaxing day before starting my shopping day, and some more time to get to know of your traveling companion. My friend recommended me this place in Mandarin Gallery named Wild Honey. What can I say about the place, it’s spacey, artful and creative with a touch of shabby chic, in fact it looks more like a place for painting/ art and craft class in my opinion. Definitely as sweet as honey. Their all day breakfast/brunch is as tempting as their regular menu. They also have various fresh juices, coffee and tea to accompany your meal. Let’s try some pf their yummy selections:
Portobello Road (S$24.00): Two poached eggs with wilted spinach, whole baked Portobello mushrooms, melted onion and peppers, homemade Hollandaise sauce on Wild Honey’s signature brioche. Delicious hearty meal with the fluffiest fresh bread.
English (S$25.00): Scrambled eggs, Canadian back bacon, Cumberland pork sausage, sautéed mushrooms, Dad’s baked beans, breakfast potatoes, grilled vine ripened tomato and signature brioche. Beautifully executed and presented meal.
Belgium (S$19.00): Fluffy waffles with coconut cream, crunchy coconut flakes, grilled mango and Maple syrup. I wasn’t too fond on the coconut cream, but it’s all just a matter of opinion of course. The waffles were light and scrumptious. Love it.
Final Verdict: Undeniably good breakfast and brunch, cozy place, the drinks might be gimmicky but overall a pleasant experience.
