Before I begin with the review, I would like to mention again how Bali has been always close to my heart. Each visit I took there has been overwhelmingly enjoyable and memorable. I love the continuously growing aspect of the island that provides us with ever changing destination for our culinary and travel journey.
Last time during a trip with MakanLuar.com I stayed at none other than Trans Resort Bali. When you visit the island of Bali, you have quite a few areas you can decide to explore, starting with the common destination of Nusa Dua, Sanur, Legian, Kuta, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Benoa, Uluwatu, Gianyar, Denpasar and Ubud to the more further destination from the airport like Gilimanuk, Kintamani, the island of Nusa Penida.
Although I, personally, opt for the more bustling side of Bali, especially Seminyak, I also love the other areas as well. Each district presents us with different exciting experience. For example, Nusa Dua and Benoa with its list of world class hotels, set themselves up to be the central for up scale resort of Bali. With private beaches facing east allowing for best sunrise experience and enormous resorts with numerous facilities inside, this would be the best area to stay and enjoy your privacy during your holiday there.
Having said that, my visit to Trans Resort unearthed a resort that combined the advantage of two favourite spots, Nusa Dua and Seminyak. Located on Sunset Road just a few miles from Seminyak, this resort provides me with both private resort feel but in the vicinity of the busy area of Kerobokan and Petitenget.

The beach-like pool is stationed between dining areas with sandy beach suntanning area on one side. It provides a unique swimming experience for the guests, especially kids and younger ones.
Some selected rooms on the pool level are given direct access to the side pool.
As you can imagine, Trans Resort is giving you the experience of modern luxury combined with excellent services. When I got to my room, I always love the welcoming complimentary fruits. Well, it’s just fruits actually, but I guess I am a major sucker for fruits.
The room was quite spacey with LED TV on the wall above the refrigerator cabinet. Beside the cabinet, there was a desk where you can do your work or in my case, do my blogging thingy that I am passionate about.
With views to the pool, I think I got the best room available there. The bathroom has two sinks and a bathtub, which I know is the standard for many luxury resorts. On top of that, there’s an outdoor bathtub on the balcony. Talking about luxury, they’re using Italian made Acqua di Parma (which majority owned by Louis Vuitton) here for their bathroom’s amenities.
The buffet dining area was pretty large with direct access to the pool. My favourite table would be the one close to the pool with direct morning sunlight hitting me on the face.
The menu on the buffet was extravagant. It gave us heaps of selections to choose from. As usual, I got myself something from the salad table to start and some pastries and fruits for desserts.
For the entrees, I had a Balinese dish of Brown Rice with spicy sauteed prawn, sate lilit, and mussels. The condiments of onions and chili on the side provided it. We also got ourselves a bowl of Porridge, a bowl of Wonton Soup and a bowl of Roast Duck and Wonton Noodles.
I felt that I am fortunate to have experience the stay here. I would consider Trans Resort as a great choice for a holiday stay and would definitely look forward to another stay there.
