Theme restaurant isn’t something new to us foodies, but a retail-lounge concept eatery is another different story. SevenFriday is the newest restaurant located in Plaza Indonesia, with you can find their watch store inside the restaurant. A one stop place where you can dine and try on watches sounds pretty exciting. They even put on their list of products on the menu. A back ground on the brand: SevenFriday, a futuristic Swiss brand watch, with lots of industrial elements into it. Mirroring the brand, the eatery also gone bold with the elements. If you’re focusing on the food, you should know that they have selections of Indonesian, Italian, Western too.
Kale Caesar Salad (IDR 75.000): Kale, herb croutons, soft boiled egg, fried chicken. The dressing smell was a bit overwhelming at first, because of the cheese. But everything else was good, especially the fried chicken was really succulent.
Pesca Ala Plancha (IDR 145.000): Fish of the day, Asian pesto, tomatoes, crispy veggie chips, parmesan foam. Sounds fancy, but the fish was average, overall dish was mediocre.
Pork Chop (IDR 145.000): Pork rice, crispy sambal matah, rich broth. The rice was tasty, the pork was cooked right, the sambal matah was bland.
SevenFriday Space was a nice place to hang out but the food quality and taste was just so-so for me. I might come back sometime for their other menu, but it won’t be my first choice to dine in Plaza Indonesia.
