Another new gem in town by the people behind Wilshire restaurant, and I couldn’t wait to take a bite. I know that the name is oddly familiar to a particuliar designer’s name brand but this restaurant has nothing to do with that. Located on the side of Menara Danamon office tower,this restaurant has a huge sign on the outside so it’s easy to spot from far. Although it’s not too large, Bottega Ristorante has a nice lighting and fresh interior. The peacock pattern mosaic tiles is what catches my eyes the most. It’s great distraction (and a beautiful one if I may add) to how small this place actually is. The outside patio also can accomodate some more people and great for those who like sunshine.

Bakmi Truffle (IDR 119.000): Local Noodles with Truffle and cream. If you are a bakmi lover, you gotta love this dish. Instead of the usual Italian pasta, they use Indonesian style noodle which has more chewy texture. The truffle also pretty strong and that’s how I like it. It’s one smart dish that I would come back for more.

Spaghetti Nero Seppia with Octopus in Pink Sauce (IDR 129.000): Squid ink spaghetti with octopus, cherry tomatoez, arugula and shaved parmesan. Love the tender but chewable octopus pieces and the sauce too.

Seared Salmon with Romesco (IDR 135.000): Homemade Romesco, seasonal vegetables, Cilantro oil and dill. The salmon was nicely cooked, too bad the skin was hard to chew.

Costine /Tuscan style pork spare ribs (IDR 149.000): St.Louis pork ribs with paprika and seasonal vegetables. The pork was bland and doesn’t really went well with the sauce.

Bottega Steak Frites (IDR 149.000): Steak with Demi glace and homemade potato chips. The steak was juicy and tasty, love the rich brown sauce too.

Salted Caramel Churros (IDR 35.000): Crunchy crust and soft in the middle, one of the best churros in town.

Nutella, Banana and Marshmallow Puff Pastry Pizza (IDR 85.000): The puff pastry was tough, the only things that I like was the toppings.

Dolci Al Cioccolate (IDR 55.000): Warm Italian flourless chocolate cake. It’s very much like a chocolate lava cake but without flour, it’s lighter to eat.The chocolate was rich and satisfying.
