My latest trip to Bali on March coincides with the opening week of Sisterfields, a new brunch cafe on Jl. Kayu Aya, Seminyak, right across the street from Grocers and Grinds. Its location right at the centre of Seminyak’s main street gave them an advantage in terms of exposure.

The use of steel frame windows and doors, wireframe chairs, and floor tiles suggest a contemporary industrial interior concept is the theme of this cafe’s interior. It gave a chic ambience yet maintain the sophistication of industrial interior concept. I can feel, in a glance, the hominess of this newly opened cafe.




Since I have just had my breakfast earlier that day, I just ordered a few meals to find out what they have to offer.



Smashed Avocado with Egg (IDR 65,000) – The smashed avocado is superb. However the egg is a bit overcooked as I believe the standard for poached eggs should be a bit runny when you cut it open. The waiter suggested to request how I want the egg cooked next time.



Salmon Slider (IDR 50,000) – The slider is one cute creation of their kitchen. Lovely and taste great at the same time.


I believe that Sisterfields, as newcomer in the world of Seminyak culinaire, will undoubtedly become a force to be reckoned with.
