One Fifteenth Coffee has all the elements of what makes a coffee shop works: Great comfortable place to hang out, free Wifi, great friendly service, delicious food and most of all – amazing coffee that would make you ask for more. I came there on a weekday, a little pass lunch time and the place was packed with people of all ages. I’ve already had my lunch somewhere else, so I could only have room for some desserts. Most of the things I ordered were delicious, I can tell you much. And I think I had some case of amnesia (could be from the excitement of ordering those lovely cakes) cause I forgot to take pictures of the place. 🙁 So I’ll just try to describe it the best I can. The cafe is sleek and quite spacey, with separated smoking and non smoking area, long wooden tables in the middle and some small coffee tables on the side. It’s comfy with clean looking interior, large windows where bright sunlight passes through. You’ll have to order and pay right away at the cashier, like at the Starbucks. Here are the things I ordered that day:
Canele (IDR 45.455): Small French pastry with soft and tender custard center and a dark thick caramel crust, comes with yummy homemade tasting Vanilla ice cream and Espresso shot.
Lemon Poppyseed Cake (IDR 27.272): Zesty and fragrant lemon cake.
Pineapple Cake (IDR 27.272): Moist cake with sugared pineapple pieces on top.
Churros (IDR 45.000): Churros with dark chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. The churros were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, nicely brown colored with cinnamon sugar all over. It’s fantastic, tasty and to die for.
Quiche (IDR 50.000): The quiche was good although it tasted more like Indonesian-Dutch style Macaroni Schotel to me. Couldn’t get enough of the salad with Honey Mustard dressing.
V60 Coffee (IDR 45.455)
Cappucinno (IDR 31.818)
