After a week of Chinese, junk food and all other international food you could think of, I started to miss Indonesian food. Bugis Corner, the Peranakan/Singaporean restaurant, feels close to home, so I’ve decided to have dinner there. The place isn’t that big, but quite comfy and has a fast service. Although the food mostly a little bland for my usual strong Indonesian taste bud, it’s mostly still hits the spot.
Chicken Satay (HK $72): Half dozen of sweet and savory chicken satay skewers.
Mini portion of Bak Kut Teh (HK $38): Chinese soup consists of meatypork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices, popular in Malaysia and Singapore.

Shrimp and Pompeo Salad (HK $48): Fresh sweet, sour, spicy Pompeo salad with shrimps.
Seafood Laksa (HK $88): Seafood laksa with Mussel, Scallop, Fish slice, beancurd puff, shrimp and ark shell.

Pork Neck Meat (HK $68): Tender juicy sliced pork meat.
