One of the perks to living on South Jakarta is the many choices of the new restaurants to try. I’ve passed Blue Fox restaurant countless time before I have the time to stop by, and today was the time. The burger place has two stories, looks homey with many sofas with colorful decorative throw pillows and many knick knacks to support the cute name. There’s also part outdoor seats complete with swing chairs, coffee tables and bar on the second floor. We ordered mostly the burgers here, thinking that that’a their specialty although there are also many other food such as breakfast menus, pizza, pasta and all that jazz.

The Tail Gate Burger (IDR 85.000): Double handmade beef patty with sausage, lettuce, tomato, BBQ sauce and sunny side up egg. Dry burger patty, the sausage was MIA, overall taste: Not so memorable.

Cheese Melt Burger (IDR 80.000): 150g. handmade beef patty, three cheese sauce and frizzled onions. The beef patty was juicy, wasn’t fan of the cheese sauce though.

New Orleans Burger (IDR 80.000): 150g. Handmade beef patty with traditional Cajun sauce, frizzled onions and grilled shrimp. Nice presentation, the burger patty was alright, I like the crunch that came with the onion rings, too bad there wasn’t a trace of the  Cajun taste anywhere.

Citrus Seared Salmon (IDR 125.000): 24 hours marinated Norwegian salmon fillet, sweet potato string beans. One of the worst salmon dish I had, the fish was dry, flaky and tasted frozen. I give plus to the sambal and salsa sides and the tasty mash sweet potatoes.

Cookie Ice Pie (IDR 50.000): Chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream. The cookie was super wet on the other and dry on the other side. It’s basically a dry sad large piece of chocolate cookie that tasted even worst than it looks.
