If you like Ya Kun Kaya Toast, you’ll love what they have to offer here at the newest branch of Ya Kun Kaya Toast in Panglima Polim street. The menu, besides the original one, has more varieties than the other Ya Kun Kaya eateries in Jakarta. The restaurant is clean,simple,and quite spacey.
Mee Rebus (IDR 31.818): Thick and flavorful gravy covered yellow noodles with dried bean curd, hard-boiled egg and garnished with traditional condiments such as roasted peanuts, Chinese celery and green chili among others.
Laksa (IDR 31.818): White rice noodles drowned in thick coconut milk gravy and garnished with slices of fish cake, dried bean curd, hard-boiled egg, bean sprouts and Laksa leaves.
Chicken Curry served with bread (IDR 31.818): Thick tasty chicken curry with a slice of toast on the side.
Toast Cubes: Fried toast with strawberry filling in the middle and Srikaya jam on the side. Yum!
Nasi Lemak Istimewa (IDR 31.818): Fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and “pandan” leaf, served with fried chicken, anchovies, peanuts, fried egg, and sambal belacan.
