The Intercontinental Hotel (ex Kempinski Hotel) have a good reputation on being one of the top hotels in Jakarta, it’s been there quite a long time and I was curious to re-try Scusa’s fine dining restaurant. As you could imagine, the once modern styled restaurant has seen better days, but at least it’s still clean and well managed till today. The service was still fantastic and satisfying. What I mostly amazed about was the quality of their food. It’s still as good as I remembered. Every food that we ordered was perfectly presented, tasted delicious, and live up to the expectation.
Char Grilled Portobello Salad (IDR 85.000): Caramelized pecans, semi-dried cherry tomatoes, radicchio, micro greens and Gorgonzola dressing. Beautifully looking salad with fragrant, rich and tasty dressing.
Ravioli Agli Spinaci di Ricotta e Funghi (IDR 94.000): Home-made spinach ravioli filled with ricotta and mushrooms, sage butter and white truffle oil. Love this dish, from the look, the ravioli skin, the filling, till the sauce was perfect. A fulfilling dish that’s really delicious till the last drop of truffle oil.
Scusa Pizza (IDR 130.000): Fresh tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, parma ham, rucola and parmesan shavings. Big pizza with great tomato sauce, good dough, fresh parma ham, with rocket salads on the top.
