If you like sunlight and open spaced place, you’ll love Odysseia. With the whimsical surroundings and garden like style, the restaurant gave out a wonderful vibe for a place to hang out. Unfortunately I couldn’t say anything nice regarding the food. It is overpriced and doesn’t live up to the standard.
Escargot (IDR 85.000): Escargot with garlic butter and fresh baguette. Honestly, the escargot was tough and lack in seasoning, resulting in unflattering snails and left me with a horrible after taste.
Greek Salad (IDR 85.000): Goat cheese, olives, cucumber, paprika and tomatoes. Average taste salad with delicious cheese.
Barramundi (IDR 135.000): Barramundi fish fillet with Dabu2 (Manadonese salsa) and rice cakes. It was a nice try but the Dabu2 overpowered the fish.
Indonesian favorite Shrimp Aglio Olio (IDR 98.000): Pasta with Olive oil and garlic, infused with Indonesian chili. Bad quality of shrimps that you can smell, but the pasta was seasoned well.
Pull Pork Sandwich (IDR 150.000): Slow roasted pork covered with BBQ sauce on a baguette, served with Coleslaw, French fries and green salad. The taste was alright, but I couldn’t say the same about the dry bread.
