More addition of a modern European restaurant on the Gunawarman Street, Le Quartier, feels genuinely sophisticated in it’s warm lighted interior, a huge painted wall of fantasied European neighborhood. A collection of movie actors and actresses’ paintings on the walls, an imaginative touch to the classic surroundings. The menu is a pick ’n’ mix of ingredients and cuisines, yet there is a consistency of style and imaginative, successful flavor pairings that is authentic French/Italian.
Nicoise Salad (IDR 116.000): Tuna salad with Lemon olive oil dressing. Simple but fantastic salad,with good quality of ingredients and great taste.
Escargots Bourgogne (IDR 92.000): Garlic butter baked snails with spinach pesto and bacon on the top, this dish is far from ordinary escargot. The taste created a new sensation for the classic French dish.
Boned Striploin (IDR 540.000): I just love the simple taste that’s associated with great quality of beef, perfect cooked, juicy and succulent. The 2 extra side dishes (Potato Gratin Dauphinois and vegetables ) completed the meal with it’s own delicious flavors.
Canadian Lobster Aglio Olio (IDR 498.000): Angel hair aglio olio pasta with semi dried tomatoes, basil, chili, pine nuts and Lobster. Not a fan of the presentation,but the taste was satisfactory.
White Ham and Truffle Pizza (IDR 136.000): Mozzarella cheese, green peas pesto and pine nuts. The not so simple pizza turned out to be marvelous.
Grilled Barramundi (IDR 116.000): Barramundi centercut fillet,deliciously grilled to perfection, with baked potato and onion.
Croquant Aux Chocolate, Choux A La Creme Pistache (IDR 68.000): Crunchy milk chocolate, pistachio cream puff. Great dessert served cold.
Grand Manier Souffle with dark chocolate sauce (IDR 78.000): The souffle was just ordinary in taste and was a little overcooked. A disappointment for an otherwise fantastic meal.
Moelleux Aux Chocolat, Griottes Et Glace Vanilla (IDR 78.000): Molten dark chocolate cake,Morello cherries, vanilla ice cream. Great quality of chocolate that you can taste.
Tarte Au Pomme, Au Miel Et Raisin Dores (IDR 66.000): Six hour baked apple tart, honey,golden raisin. Very soft tart with thin pie crust.
Creme Brulee A La Vanille, Compote De Fruit Rouges (IDR 68.000): Creme brulee topped with red berry compot. Very soft creme with the right crisp on the burnt sugar. Really good.
