When it comes to breakfasting or brunching in Bali, I never skip any opportunity I got to try and enjoy new places serving this important meal of the day.

Cafe Bali has been around for quite sometime in Seminyak area but has eluded my attention until my latest visit to Bali to attend my close friend’s wedding. It was located on the busy restaurant row of Rumours, Ultimo, and Trattoria, the infamous Jl. Kayu Aya.

The first quick impression I got when I enter the cafe was the simplicity and its homeyness. The interior, including its furniture and fixtures, are mainly whites.

The menu is pretty straight forward. We chose their best breakfast set of course, “The Cafe Bali Breakfast” (IDR 59.000), which includes choice of two eggs, choice of breads with jam and butter, a jar cereal or cornflakes, a glass of juice, and choice of tea or coffee. A quite generous portion I might say. For the eggs, I chose the Salmon Eggs Florentine (additional IDR 20.000)

While they are not extraordinary, all the foods and drinks are fresh and to my liking. Added with a reasonable price, I will have to say Cafe Bali offers great value meals with an open relaxing vibe as an added value.
