With so many new restaurants to choose from,in Kota Kasablanka mall, it should be hard to decide which one to try first. But because of the reputation behind Balboni’s company (the list ranges from Negev, Chateau Blanc, etc) I knew this one should be a winner. The restaurant’s interior was nothing out of ordinary, but the one thing that sets it apart, was the beautiful tented outdoor area. Perfect for your night time lounging.


Parma Ham (IDR 90.000): Served with focaccia croutons, extra virgin olive oil and rocket salad.

Warm Caponata (Large IDR 130.000): Mixed vegetable relish with olives, rosemary and cumin, topped with chili. It’s not a typical salad with green veggies and the sauce was spicy sweet and sour,more like a chinese salad.


Mushroom Ravioli (IDR 105.000): Homemade stuffed dumplings with mushroom and cheese sauce, infused with truffle oil. This one was superb. The pasta wasn’t too thin or too thick, the filling was just right, and the thick sauce was delicious.

Prochuto Pizza (IDR 120.000)

Devilled Pork with Hoppers Egg Bread (IDR 100.000): Fried pork cube with a sweet and spicy tomato sauce. A very creative dish,with fried egg cups look like traditional Indonesian ‘kue Ape’. The pork dish itself was just ordinary.

Branzino Alla Griglia Con Asparagi E Salsa Mediterranea (IDR 190.000): Grilled sea bass, asparagus, salsa Mediterranea, tomato, olive concase, garlic and olive oil.

Pork Curry with Basmatti rice (IDR 110.000): Boneless pork cubes cooked with Sri Lankan traditional spices.

Bianca Di Prosciutto (IDR 120.000): Thin crust pizza with cured parma ham, fresh cherry tomato, rocket salad, mozzarella and extra virgin olive oil.




Chocolate Souffle (IDR 55.000): Classic souffle with chocolate. Beautifully presented souffle, delicious and nicely prepared, with sweet and sour berry sorbet on the side.

Mango Tiramisu (IDR 60.000): Tiramisu foam with mango and sogi biscuit. The tiramisu cake layer was too thin for my liking.

Velvet Brownies (IDR 55.000): Chocolate brownie with nuts and red velvet cake layered with cream cheese mousse. Nice cake, but I would really like it better if they put more of those yummy brownie layer.
