Retail therapy at the Harbour City left me with an empty stomach, so I’ve decided to take a lunch break at this high class Italian eatery Al Molo. The clean, sleek and beautiful restaurant gives a friendly service, nice selections of food and drinks. With Celebrity Chef Michael White as the head chef, this place has it’s own loyal customers both families and business acquaintances alike.
Ceasare (HK $ 128.00): Hearts of Romaine, anchovy-caper vinaigrette, ciabatta croutons, Parmigiano. Fantastic and tasty ceasar salad.
Pappardelle (HK $ 182.00): Wide ribbon pasta, Manila clams, Squid, White wine cream. The pasta here was a bit bland to my taste, but the quality and presentation was superb.
Risotto di Mare (HK $ 208.00): Acquerello risotto, Scallops, Shrimps, Squid, parsley. The risotto was cooked nicely, creamy and rich.
Tagliatelle (HK $ 182.00): Ribbon pasta, Asparagus, speck, Truffle sauce. Lovely pasta, love the ham and the light creamy sauce.
