Located in the Intiland building in Sudirman (ex Dharmala building), the new restaurant stood out among the old surrounding.

The interior wasn’t actually extraordinary, but the vibe was nice. Surprisingly the spacey place was packed on lunch time, I guess people has already heard about this newly born restaurant.

The service was helpful, but wasn’t very prompt. For example we had to ask several time for clean plates and ended up with less dish than we needed. But of course I’m mostly curious about the food they have here. So I started my meal with:

Chinatown Chicken Salad (IDR 40.000): Chinese style salad with Cashew nuts, Wonton crisp and infused ginger sesame oil dressing. Love the idea of the sweet sour and spicy dressing. Too bad the wonton crisp was a bit too thick, so it didn’t give the crunchiness that I was expected.

Korean Beef Tortillas (IDR 50.000): Marinated beef with Gojuchang paste, lettuce, sesame seed, sesame oil, grated parmesan cheese wrapped in flour tortilla wrap.

Nasi Goreng Tom Yam (IDR 55.000): Thai Tom Yam fried rice with prawn and chicken and sunny side up egg. The taste wasn’t ‘bold’ enough. It needed more kick.

Pan Fried Baramundi (IDR 70.000): Pomme puree, asparagus, turned carrots with ‘Ngawi’ tomato sauce. This dish was just average for me.

Thai Pesto Spaghetti (IDR 75.000): Spaghetti with prawns and fried quail eggs in pesto Thai sauce. This is confusing cause there wasn’t any taste of any Thai flavor in this dish. But the pasta tasted just okay with good quality of shrimps.

Truffle Macaroni and Cheese Gratin (IDR 30.000): Love the strong truffle taste, but the creamy sauce was bland and tasteless.

Rainbow in a Jar (IDR 35.000): I’m not really a fan of the colorful cake known as Rainbow cake, to tell you the truth, I was more scared of the sight of the excessive use of food colorings.  But the packaging was undeniably cute. About the’s more like cream cheese in colors and nothing more.

Warm Bread and Butter (IDR 35.000): Unlike the ordinary mushy bread butter pudding, this one had the crust on the outside and soft bread pudding on the inside that’s really delicious. I would recommend this to anybody.

Carrot Cake (IDR 35.000): Average carrot cake.
