Pizza e Birra’s newest installment opened in Gandaria City Mall on May 2012. This restaurant first opened in Plaza Indonesia EX at 2009 and made famous for it’s beers and fusion pizzas. Another Ismaya Group establishment after Pasta de Waraku, Sushigroove, Dragonfly etc, this eatery targeted the hip younger crowds and it’s a great hang out place for drinks and snacks after a long day at work. Over the years, Pizza e Birra has evolved. I noticed that now they have more things on the menu like pasta and risotto dishes. Great move to attract more family to come to this place.

Chicken Wings El Diablo (Small IDR 39.000, Large IDR 79.000): Sweet & spicy Chicken Wings,tasted like Korean wings. It’s really finger liking good.

John Dory Fish Special (IDR 55.000): Dory fish fillet soaked in garlic chili sauce,served with fresh brocolli with creamy sauce. Rich taste, great for seafood lover.

Baked Rigatoni with Beef Bechamel and Parmesan Mozarella Cheese Top (IDR 65.000): They use Mexican chili instead of beef bolognese. A smart blend of Italian and Mexican taste. Delicious!

Linguini with Chili Fried Oxtail (IDR 79.000): Pasta sauted with beef oxtail meat and chili padi creates an Asian style noodle that you’ll want to eat again and again.

Big Breakfast Pizza (IDR 59.000): All American breakfast favorites united. Beef sausage, turkey bacon, hash brown, mushroom & fried omega-3 egg. For me, this pizza wasn’t impressing much. The toppings and the pizza dough didn’t go together,more like oil and water.

Funtastico (IDR 39.000) : Puff pastry pizza with fresh apple,cinnamon and topped with vanilla ice cream. Perfectly baked pastry, really tasty cinnamon apple bites, but I was dissapointed of the ice cream. The texture was rough and icy like it’s been melted before.
