I’ve got to admit, Potato Head group really have a cool vision on their newest joint. Opened only less than a month, Three Buns has created such a huge buzz with it’s unique ‘food truck/ burger restaurant’. Along with the ‘immobilized’ food truck, there are also a bar and many tables in this sun room- like place. Unlike your typical mobile canteen’s frozen-all prepackaged food, here they serve a higher quality, gourmet burger. It’s basically food truck stereotypes debunked.
Wings-Its (IDR 55.000): Twice cooked chicken wings, hot sauce, scallions and smoky BBQ sauce. The chicken wings were just average.
Naughty Fries (IDR 45.000): Spiced bearnaise, beef chili, crisp shallots, Parmesan and sesame seeds. Thumbs up for the shallots toppings creativity although the fries was tasteless to me.
Honky Tonk (IDR 100.000): Soya milk fried chicken, coleslaw, lettuce, hot sauce and den miso mayo.Love this chicken burger. The chicken was extra crispy and tasty plus the tanginess from the coleslaw was superb.
Burning Man (Rp110.000): Prime 150 g beef patty, cheese, roasted jalapeno relish, hot ketchup and dashi mayo. The ingredients clearly expensive, the buns were toasted perfectly, the sauce was brilliant and spicy, but the beef patty was the real star. I could always come back for more.
