Brand new and located strategically in Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall, just one level on top of the H&M store, St.Germain has the same vibe as her sister restaurant, Cacaote. If you’ve been to Cacaote, this one also has the antique European interior with rattan painted chairs and long dessert display case that makes you drool just by looking at it. There’s also a row of outside seats for those who like to eat while checking out the busy mall spenders walking by. Aside from cakes, the addition of homemade jams and spreads are also available.
Caesar Salad (IDR 75.000): Baby romaines, yogurt sunac dressing, grilled chicken. The dressing tasted sour and tangy, more like mustard dressing.
Wagyu Short Rib Burger (IDR135.000): Black bun, cherry tomato chutney, aged cheddar. The presentation was interesting but the overall taste didn’t deliver. The black bun was dry, the meat was tough and tasteless.
Sesame Crusted Tuna (IDR 110.000): Ratatouille, fennel salad, capers brown butter. Although it was a little overcooked, the tuna was nicely seasoned, tasted fresh and was a very well combination to be eaten with the light ratattouile.
Linguine Aglio Olio (IDR 78.000): White clams, parsley, chili. The pasta was just okay.
Raspberry and Vanilla (IDR 40.000): Vanilla jaconde, green apple compote, vanilla brulee, raspberry mousse, raspberry glaze. Sweet and sour and refreshing taste.
Intense Dark Chocolate Tart (IDR 50.000): Vanilla sable, dark chocolate cremeux, chocolate glaze, dark chocolate chantily, chocolate velvet. Rich bold taste of layers of choclate mousse. Perfect for dark chocolate lovers.
Salted Caramel Choux (IDR 28.000): Sweet, salty ,finger licking good.
