Santouka Ramen – Plaza Indonesia Jakarta-Closed

Author: Posh Eater

There’s nothing more appetizing than to have a hot steaming bowl of ramen on a rainy night. Especially if it’s as delicious as this particular one in Plaza Indonesia.

This Hokkaido-Japan originated noodle house has a simple modern Japanese style decoration. The main ingredient of their success focused on the pork based noodle soup ramen. The pearl-colored Tonkotsu soup was achieved by simmering pork bones before adding vegetables, dried fish, kelp, and other ingredients. The result didn’t disappoint.

Kara Miso Ramen Small (IDR 73.000): Spicy soybean paste flavor. Not spicy enough for me, but the soup was well prepared, delicious and satisfying.

Shio Ramen (IDR 63.000): Delicious fragrant thick broth noodle soup, with fantastic ramen and superb pork meat.

Pork Gyoza (IDR 33.000): Succulent pork dumpling with perfectly textured skin, over the top fillings.
