PhoBar – SCBD – Jakarta-Closed

Author: Posh Eater

There aren’t many Vietnamese restaurants available in South Jakarta area, so when I heard that PhoBar has opened,I was ecstatic. As soon as I entered, beautiful antique crystal chandeliers greeted with delight. The interior was nothing out of ordinary but still it’s cozy and have good ambience.

PB1A

Vietnamese Fried Spring Rolls (IDR 39.000): Spring rolls with minced chicken and shrimp. Really crunchy delicious rolls with juicy fillings.

Papaya Salad with Beef Fillet (IDR 45.000): Love this shredded papaya salad. The ingredients were fresh, and the dressing was tantalizing with all the right taste.

Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup (IDR 69.000): Noodle soup with beef slices, beef tripe and meat balls. This Pho was just average for my taste. Even if it’s good in quality, without extra seasonings, the broth itself was a little timid in flavor.

Beef Baguette (IDR 69.000): Vietnamese sandwich with fantastic sauce and beef cubes to die for. Most try.
