How ecstatic was I when hearing that Paul has just opened in Jakarta? Very! The French family bakery and patisserie devided by restaurant and the bakery section. The green house like restaurant has a feeling of true European spirit mixed with modern contemporary interior. The ethereal place has a friendly and helpful service,and variant menus from breakfast,lunch, high tea to dinner meals.
Tartine Champignon (IDR 110.000): Sauteed mushrooms with garlic, shallots and parsley.Served warm. Fantastic country bread with fragrant mushrooms.
Salade Crevettes Mangue (IDR 100.000): Fresh grilled prawns, mixed salad, grated carrots, mango,cucumber and cherry tomatoes. Really good quality of veggies, jumbo prawns with delicate vinaigrette dressings.
Cuisse de Poulet Rotie (IDR 130.000): Roasted chicken leg with herbs, served with salad, sauteed potatoes and shallots. Tasty chicken and love the potatoes too.
Tartelette chocolat (IDR 50.000): Chocolate cream tartlet. Rich dark chocolate with moist tart pastry.
Eclair Chocolat (IDR 40.000): Traditional choux pastry with chocolate creme patissiere filling.
Eclair vanille (IDR 40.000): Traditional choux pastry with vanilla creme patissiere filling.
Millefeuille fraises (IDR 50.000): Paul’s famous Napoleon with strawberries and creme patissiere filling.Must try.
Tarte Fruits Rouges (IDR 50.000): Cherries, raspberries,blackberries, custard cream and puff pastry. Sweet and sour fantastic dessert.
Fougasse Cheese (IDR 50.000): French baked flat bread with cheese topping. Crispy salty savory and all the goodness of a simple bread.
