Pacific Whey – South Coast Plaza California

Author: Posh Eater

I’ve got the chance to visit the Pacific Whey restaurant in South Coast Plaza. The restaurant offers brunch and lunch and kids menus and many kinds of pastries and desserts too. The place was quite large with family friendly tables.

Jr. Cheese Quesadilla ($5:95): Flour Tortilla filled with Cheddar Cheese, served with fresh fruit. 4 Slices of great tasty thin tortilla, with good quality cheese filling.

Pacific Whey Tossed Pasta with chicken ($7.95) : Penne pasta tossed with Minced garlic, olive oil, fresh basil and tomatoes, served with garlic toast. Pretty good al dente pasta dish with delicious grilled chicken, love the garlic bread too. I thing it’ll be perfect if they made it less oily.

Chicken N’ Chips ($11.95): Panko Crusted Chicken tenders served with hand cut french fries and slaw. Beautiful satisfying brown crusted chicken strips with tasty side dishes.

Jr. Mac and Cheese ($5.95): Very yummy mac and cheese meal with healthy and not too creamy sauce, that I think would make- both kids and parents- happy.

Grilled Cajun Chicken ($9.95):Grilled Cajun-Seasoned chicken, Pepper Jack Cheese, Roasted Sweet bell peppers, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and Chipotle Aioli. This might be my favorite dish from all. The white bread was freshly served, love the fragrant and tasty white meat chicken, great quality of veggies and the delicious tangy sauce made it a perfect sandwich.

Carrot Cake ($4.95): Very good carrot cake with superb light cream cheese.
