Gandaria City Mall keeps adding new addition to their restaurant lists and Miyagi is the one I’ve craved to visit recently. This Japanese restaurant is managed by the same company that has brought you the loveable restaurants such as Seribu Rasa, Penang Bistro, Maison Tatsuya, Hong Kong Cafe, and many more. I particulary love their modern Japanese concept and interior. It’s polished, spacey (with two levels) and family friendly. Along with every authentic Japanese dishes from the menu, they also have kids bento and Japanese dessert.
Salmon Aburi Salad (IDR 60.000): Mixed vegetables with half broiled Salmon. Love the fresh Salmon, tasty dressing too.
Tori Karaage (IDR 42.000): Deep fried chicken. Delicious crunchy comfort food.
Tori Teriyaki (IDR 45.000): Fried chicken with tender meat and crunchy coating with bold teriyaki sauce. Love it.
Chicken Katsu Curry Rice (IDR 55.000): Chicken cutlet topped with curry on rice. The curry sauce was the main thing that made my tongue danced with joy. It has strong Japanese curry flavor, and right consistancy, the fried chicken was also delish.
Unagi Maki (IDR 95.000): Premium eel, egg omelette and kani stick. I like how the sushi rice wasn’t too thick, so it blended well with the unagi. And it has extra sweetness to the flavor that I couldn’t get enough of.
Set Bento Special A (IDR 135.000): Rice set with Salmon teriyaki, Mini Yashi Udon, salad, Chawan Mushi, and Otoshi. Love almost everything about this bento, nicely cooked Salmon, the udon was just average, delicious side dishes.
Mizaki Sundae (IDR 35.000): Parfait style Japanese ice cream that was good in concept but too bad the quality of the ice cream wasn’t that great.
Azuki Pudding (IDR 35.000): Japanese style Panna cotta with red beans.
