Marie Callender’s Restaurant – Arcadia California

Author: Posh Eater

Marie Callender’s is an American chain restaurant that specialized in pies and classic American food. The one nearest our area is quite old and rustic but still serve their best. I’ve noticed that most of the people who comes here are families and seniors, but I still love the old local tradition restaurants and their delicacies.

Oh My Omelette ($9.99): Served with hash browns, your choice of toast and our signature homemade berry jam or two made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes. As a restaurant that serve all day breakfast, I couldn’t resist to try their early bird meal. This one has a generous size of three eggs and a side of toast.

Double Shrimp Pasta ($16.99): Sauteed tail-on shrimp, garlic, tomatoes and mushrooms in a parmesan, romano and asiago-herb sauce served over a bed of spiral pasta, then topped with jumbo breaded shrimp. The pasta was a little overcooked, otherwise the rest of them were delicious, especially those succulent shrimps, it’s to die for.
