Locanda emerges in same place as Cafe Aria used to be. The place still have similar vibe like white bricks walls and bright big windows. The private rooms also placed on the same corner at the back of the room. The menu has lots of Asian as well as Western and Italian cuisine. Overall the food here had nice presentation but average taste.
Sinchos (IDR 55.000): Traditional ‘singkong’/cassava crackers with yellow cheddar sauce and truffle oil.Tasted nothing out of ordinary although I give credit to the idea.
Drunken Chicken (IDR 60.000): Popcorn chicken with garlic, chili padi and kaffir lime leaf.Love it.
Angel Hair (IDR 120.000): Pasta with tiger prawn, garlic, chili and olive oil. Tasty pasta, good prawns.
Grilled Salmon (IDR 125.000): With potato, baby long bean and mediteranian sauce. The Salmon was a little overcooked.
Rib Eye (IDR 170.000): the steak was just average.
Flambe Tenderloin (IDR 190.000): With greeb peppercorn and Cognac. The beef was dry although the sauce was good.
Khao Op Saperot (IDR 60.000): Thai fried rice in pineapple. It’s tasty and seasoned well.
Tiramisu (IDR 55.000): Traditional tiramisu flavored with coffee.
Melted Choco Cake (IDR 60.000): with wild berry and rum raisin ice cream. Perfectly cooked but it wasn’t the best one I’ve tasted.Trio Cream Brulee (IDR 55.000): Mango, coffee, and oreo cream brulee with brandy snap. The texture was too thick and dense, I could smell the egg. Probably the worst creme brulee I’ve ever tasted.
Manciam (IDR 50.000): Thai cassava cake with coconut milk. Nicely cooked cassava.Perfectly sweetened. It’s great.
Ruamit (IDR 40.000): Mixed ice, jack fruit, young coconut and jikama ala Thai.
