La Hoya has really impressed me from the first time I laid my eyes on her. This newest venue from the Penang Bistro and Seribu Rasa group has it’s own ethereal charisma. Although Mexican fusion is the theme, the interior bursts with modern classic look. The smoking area has an open space with natural light and is separated from the non-smoking area.
Los Nachos(IDR 58.000): Crispy home made tortilla chips dressed with Cheddar cheese sauce, home made beef chorizo, jalapeno pickles, sour cream, guacamole and fresh Pico de Gallo. Very good nachos.Even the tortilla chips itself was really tasty.
Las Quesadillas (IDR 55.000): Flour tortilla filled with a savory mixture of cheese, garnished with sour cream, guacamole and fresh Pico de Gallo. Simple succulent quesadillas with tasty cheese and yummy wraps.
Ensalada Santa Fe (IDR 58.000): Crispy chicken stripes served over a mixture of green leafs, almond praline, mandarine supremes, Parmesan cheese dressed with in-house Honey mustard dressing. Fresh salad with sour and tangy dressing.
Las Costillas (IDR 155.000): Slow cooked beef ribs coated with home made special BBQ sauce, garnished with Mexican red rice and light green salad. The Mexican rice was perfectly seasoned, love the beef ribs that’s so tender,it fell right off the bone.
Pastel de Tres Leches (IDR 35.000) : Fluffy sponge cake soaked with milk, topped with mocha butter froasting and dry toasted coconut. Similar to Tiramisu cake, has a strong coffee and rum flavor.
El Delicado (IDR 37.000): Basil Parfait served over cranberry and pistachio crumble, fresh fruit from the forest and balsamic reduction. It has a mousse like texture, very smooth and had the perfect sweet and sour taste.
