I bet many of you know what a Japanese cheesecake looks like. The texture was fluffy, definitely lighter in weight and fluffier than our usual cake. Besides that, Japanese cheesecake is smooth and creamy, makes it favoured by many people. During my trip to Jakarta this month, I heard the buzz about Fuwa Fuwa cheesecake so when I visited a new mall in Pantai Indah Kapuk, I spared some time to visit Fuwa Fuwa to get a taste of their cheese cake.
The store at this location is rather small as it only occupies a 3×3 metre room, however they have bigger space in the back since this is their main production facility that supply to one other location at Central Park Mall.
Other than their popular cheesecake, they also sell the dried version of their cheesecake, called Fuwa Bites, that they encased in a resealable packaging.
They offer three cheesecake selections, which are:
Signature Cheesecake (IDR 100k)
Matcha Cheesecake (IDR 120k)
Chocolate Cheesecake (IDR 120k)
As this is our first tryout, we decided to check out the Signature Cheesecake to find out the baseline taste, texture, and moistness of their Cheesecake.
Right after my first bite, I could say that Fuwa Fuwa cheesecake got the right texture and moistness for a Japanese Cheesecake. The flavour and taste was light as it should be. No wonder people love it. Since their second outlet Fuwa Fuwa World has already opened at Central Park mall, I would try the other two flavours there the next time I visit Fuwa Fuwa.
