Am I the only one who feels that chinese restaurants in Bandung are usually blah, old and boring?  yawn tongue
I know some of you guys do, admit it! laughing  Good news, there’s a funky chinese restaurant in town now!

Being curious with the food, I ordered several items from their menu:
Hot and Sour Soup, Claypot Mapo Tofu, Kungpaw Chicken, Salted Chilli Fried Squid, Sweet and Sour Fried Dory Fish, Two-way Kailan.

Along with the drinks:
Kedongdong Juice, Jasmine Green Milk Tea, Oolong Tea with Pearl.

All the foods were okay, with the exclusion of the squid which was really salty and spicy making it hard for me to taste the actual dish itself. Don’t expect authentic chinese food taste here. The kedongdong (ambula) juice was really sour. I know it’s supposed to be sour but it was a bit much for me and the bubble tea was a bit below my expectation. The price’s considerably low though. Well… in this case, like a popular Indonesian saying goes: “Ada harga, ada barang” simply means price does matter. tongue

As much as I’d like to love this place because of its funky appearance and the effort they put into the details, the food being the soul of a restaurant fails to impress me. But then again, there are lots of room for improvement.
