Commune Cafe and Bistro is settled on the top of Crematology coffee house on Suryo street. The place is quite comfy with three large separated private rooms with nice murals and painted ceilings. The menu here consisted of sandwiches, steaks, pizza, pasta, Indonesian food and many more.
Chef’s Salad (IDR 65.000): Lettuce,Strawberries, apples, celery, smoked salmon and raisins topped with parmesan cream. I love the colorful taste of the sweetness, the acidity and the saltyness from the cheese. It really works.
Commune Club Sandwich (IDR 85.000): Triple decker sandwich with white bean spread, red pesto spread, turkey bacon, smoked beef ham, grilled chicken and eggs. Although this is their signature dish, it didn’t impress me that much. The bread was average and the filling , with the dry chicken meat, wasn’t impressive.
Spaghetti Meatballs (IDR 65.000): Pasta and homemade meatballs in rich tomato sauce. The sauce was delicious but I’ve got to say, the meatballs was dry.Overall it’s just okay.
