Capoccacia – Pacific Place Jakarta

Author: Posh Eater

I’ve heard of this sandwich place in Pacific Place Mall for quite some time already, but haven’t got the chance to try it till recently. The place didn’t look big from the outside, but it actually had two levels that could fit quite a lot of people. The ambiance of the eatery was nice and the service was good. The tables seemed smaller than normal to me, but maybe it’s made for per person meal, and not for sharing.

I started my lunch with the Green Salad (IDR 50.000): Simple really good green rocket salad with Vinaigrette.

I went ahead and ordered the recommended sandwich, which is the Caleno (IDR 85.000): Sandwich with raw ham, Camoscio d’Oro, Arugula, tomatoes, and Truffle oil. I was kinda surprised to see how small the portion was. I know that’s it’s supposed to be raw, but the ham had a strong smell that I couldn’t tolerate, and it over powered the Truffle oil. Even the bread was just average. The only thing that I like about it was the cheese.

Pasta Aglio Olio with tuna (IDR 85.000): Simple spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, chili pepper. This pasta was okay, but I had better.
