Bistro Milano – New York

Author: Posh Eater

I came upon this Italian restaurant when we were just walking by in NYC. The place has a clean and bright look, outside and inside. As we stepped in, we were greeted by the friendly hostess who also offered to check our coats. The service here was incredibly friendly. The waiters and the manager was also very attentive with our order.

Minestrone ($10.00): Delicious rich broth, fresh veggies. Very good Italian minestrone soup.

Calamari ($16.00): Good fried calamari with delicious light tomato sauce at the side.

Fettucine Con Granchio ($24.00): Fettucine tossed with jumbo lump crab meat, cherry tomatoes, arugula and brandy. Delicious al dente pasta dish.

Linguine Alle Vongole Veraci ($23.00): Linguine pasta with manila clams in a light wine, garlic and olive sauce. Generous Clam pasta with fantastic wine sauce.

Pizza Calabrese ($15.00): Spicy sausage, mozzarella, and tomato sauce. Love the tomato sauce, good dough and great cheese topping.

Apple Pie ($12.00): The apple bits wasn’t perfect, but love the crust and the ice cream.

Cioccolatissimo ($12.00): Even though this Chocolate melt was a little overcooked, the taste was delicious, plus the yummy Hazelnut ice cream added the spark.
