A Brief Encounter with Mister Sunday – Jakarta

Author: Chic Eater

Our search for culinary delights brought us to this new cafe called Mister Sunday, occupying the second level of the building, that is also inhabited by Brownfox, a graphic design studio, whose founders happen to be the owner of the cafe as well.

Just by the look of the building architecture and exterior detail, one could sense the design inclination it was trying to convey.

The use of chosen material and embellishments for each area was carefully thought and applied to create a modern Scandinavian-like interior.  The warm ambiance I felt there was of a casual contemporary cafe.

Since I came during afternoon coffee time, the appropriate thing to do was to order a cup of cappuccino and its recommended selection of brownies.  The menu, however, offered a quite extensive list of choice from Asian-Western fusion cuisine that includes all day breakfast, sandwich, etc.

Cappuccino (IDR 38k)

Salted Caramel Brownies (IDR 40k) – nice moist texture on the brownies.  The salted caramel on the brownies tasted alright.

I love the light laid back mood emitted by the whole interior of the cafe. As for the food and drinks, I felt that it would not be fair for me to place any judgement at this time since I have not tried enough of their menu.
