Katsura Japanese restaurant was originally specialized in Teppanyaki (beef/chicken/seafood grilled & prepared on a flat metal grill table side by a Chef) and was known to be a pricey restaurant for Japanese expatriates & local businessmen. But this large spaced, beautifully designed restaurant has created a whole new image since they’ve offered the affordable Lunch Bento Set Menus recently. I went there with a few of my girlfriends just a few days ago and had a wonderful fulfilling Japanese lunches. We ordered: the Gyudon (Beef with rice) set, Salmon & Gindara Bento (served with cawan mushi,japanese pickle,rice,udon), Sashimi Set and the Tempura Udon set (large portion of udon,with mix tempura,california rolls,& salad). Each for the price around Rp100.000. So if you’re looking for good ambiance, good quality of food & service, Katsura should definitely be on the top of your list.
