Entrada

I just can’t resist trying on a new restaurant, especially the ones as Intriguing as Entrada Spanish restaurant. The patterned tiles, wooden and dark green bar, and textured wall matches the theme of the eatery. But the most eye catching for me are the red wrought iron that added a pop of color to the place. Other than fusion styled Spanish, the menu also consisted of Italian food. I was fortunate enough to sit with one of the owner and she explained how they purely cook with all the best ingredients, without any use of vetsin and how the menu were adapted to Indonesian taste without sacrificing the true taste of Spanish cuisine.

Ensaladilla Del Caesar (IDR 45.000): Classic Caesar salad with a strong dressing. Really good.

Salmon Ahumado En Miel Moztaza Eneldo Vinagreta (IDR 55.000): Smoked Salmon salad with honey dill mustard vinaigrette. Could be one of the best fresh salad I’ve ever tasted in Jakarta. Simple and tangy dressing with a hint of salty taste from the smoked salmon.

Croquetas De Jamon (IDR 45.000): Machengo and Serrano ham croquettes.

Arroz Negre (IDR 250.000): Black Paella with seafood. The black ink-spanish rice was a bit dry, but the taste was delicious.

Paella Entrada Special (IDR 250.000): Classic Valencian paella with seafood. Unlike any other paella I’ve tasted, this version was more like a baked rice dish. It’s really delicious, with the strong taste that I like in a meal.

Rucula, Tomate, Shitake Y Pasta (IDR 60.000): Arugula, Shitake, and mushrooms primavera. Love this vegetarian pasta. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly, tasted amazing and the simple but rich mushrooms and arthicoke elements added the juiciness.

Calamares A La Romana Rebozadas Con Sutinto (IDR 40.000): Black and White Calamari Ring. Unique looking black Calamari with white tar tar sauce. Crunchy and tasty. Perfect for a light snack.

Tapas:

Gambas Al Aljillo (IDR 40.000): Oil poached shrimp suffused with garlic paprika.

Beefsalpicao (IDR 55.000): Beef tenderloin in Olive oil and garlic with Chef’s signature sauce. Perfectly marinated beef cubes, which resulted in fragrant, juicy and delicious meal.

Champignon Al Crema (IDR 30.000): Mushroom with cream sauce and garlic/ olive oil. I was also in love with this Tapas dish. A simple dish bursting with taste.

Desserts:

Churros Con Chocolat (IDR 30.000): Tiny super cute churros with chocolate dipping to die for.

Home made Baileys and Pistachio Gelato (IDR 45.000)

Drinks:

Tropical Peach (IDR 100.000)

Entrada Chocolate martini (IDR 120.000)

Nougat Surprise (IDR 100.000)
